Meet lenny grossman

Lenny Grossman is a Joseph Jefferson nominated actor and is now based in New York. His recent credits include Ray in Blackbird at the New Ohio Theater and Murray Gluck in the world premiere of War Stories at The Tank. On TV, Lenny appears in the recurring role of Chief Thomas Brooks in A Good Cop on NTD.com. He has also appeared in the award-winning series Covid Ditty as well as roles in short and feature length films.

Lenny attended The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and then graduated with a B.S. in theater from SUNY Oneonta. His early career was mostly on stage in Chicago, where he performed in over 20 plays and was nominated for a Joseph Jefferson Award for lead performance as Aldo Scalicki in Raven Theatre’s Italian American Reconciliation. His other favorite roles for which he received acclaim are Harpagon in The Miser (Best of Philly Theater) at The Stagecrafters and Ray in White Guy on the Bus.

Lenny took a long hiatus to help raise his family and returned to acting in 2016. He has performed comedy and drama with equal expertise, in plays by authors ranging from Moliere to Arthur Miller. After 10 years as a triathlete, Lenny is now an avid runner and is trained in martial arts and stage combat. Lenny’s philosophy is simple – do the work. Keep doing the work, keep learning, be grateful, and tell the story.
